PITTSBURGH--Evoqua Water Technologies Corp. (NYSE: AQUA) today announced the launch of a secondary public offering of 12 million shares of its common stock by certain institutional shareholders of the company, including certain affiliates of AEA Investors LP (collectively, the “Selling Shareholders”). The shares will be offered from time to time for sale in one or more transactions on the New York Stock Exchange, in the over-the-counter market, through negotiated transactions or otherwise at market prices prevailing at the time of sale, at prices related to the prevailing market prices or at negotiated prices. Additionally, in connection with the offering, the Selling Shareholders intend to grant to the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to 1.8 million additional shares of common stock.
The company is not selling any shares in the offering and will not receive any proceeds from the sale of shares being sold by the Selling Shareholders in the offering.
Citigroup is acting as sole bookrunner and underwriter for the offering.
