Evoqua carries a variety of activated carbon filters to improve water taste and odor. Standard diameter cartridges are approximately 2-1/2", while Big Blue® Cartridges are 4-1/2" in diameter.
Pentek® GAC, Pentek® RFC, and Watts GAC Series Carbon Filters use granular activated carbon, greatly increasing their surface area and the capacity of the cartridge.
RFC Series Cartridges arrange the granular carbon for radial flow inside the cartridge, reducing pressure drop at higher flow rates.
EP, EPM, CBC, CCBC, and Harmsco® HAC Series Cartridges use a formed block of carbon to reduce particulates in addition to activated carbon filter functions.

Pentek CC-10 granular activated carbon cartridges are an excellent choice to reduce unwanted chlorine taste and odor, and certain VOCs from potable drinking water. CC-10 Cartridge also reduce MTBE. They contain coconut shell-based activated carbon, which produces drinking water of exceptional taste and quality and provides better VOC reduction than standard GAC cartridges.
